Meet Katie

Greetings! My name is Katie, I'm the one who types this little space on the internet.

I am currently married, to the best guy possible. Husband buys me C.S. Lewis books and takes me on bubble tea dates. He's such a hard-worker, and he encourages me to be more like Jesus. His name is Zachary.

We tied the knot July 21st, 2012!

We are from Seattle, we live in Seattle, and will continue to  until school is finished. After that, my love and I plan on moving to another country. A third world country, to be more specific- where we will adventure and learn! I want to be a teacher, Z is still waiting to see what he will become. We love cultures, traveling, people, and Jesus.

Jesus is a core belief. If you don't know him, I'd encourage you to study up on the life he led. It's truly inspiring. Zach and I desperately want to love people as Christ loved us. A goal, indeed. A challenge? Absolutely. "This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another." -1 John 4:10-11. Plain as day, I choose to make it a lifestyle rather than a quote to admire.

I invite you to experience the ups and down and joys of my life by tuning into this space. I'm most certainly not perfect, nor do I strive to be, but I'd love to share with you what goes on.
